My husband and I have returned from nearly two weeks in "The Last Frontier". Alaska is amazing, it is everything people describe and more. Of the towns we visited as we cruised along Alaska's coast, I think Skagway is my favorite. It more closely resembles what I think an old mining town should look like. We wandered the many shops where the locals sell their handmade goods, and hopped aboard the White Pass Railroad for an exciting trip through the mountains and along "Trail 98" that claimed the lives of many men and animals.
I'm currently downloading the images from a portable hard drive we brought along with us on our trip. As I complete images from our trip I'll try to give a little historical background as I go. I expect this process to stretch out a long time so be patient and check back to see my progress. The first ones will be along soon!

More on Metal Prints
People LOVE the metal prints. The clarity, color and depth of the image on metal is unmatched. Not to mention the versatility of hanging fine art images outdoors without worry of damage caused by Florida's humidity. Cleaning is a breeze, commercial window cleaner and a soft cloth do the trick!
Metal Prints have arrived!
My first order of Metal Prints just arrived. The images are printed directly on brushed aluminum panels and coated with an easy care, weather resistant, glossy or satin finish, I chose one of each. The depth and luminescence of these images is remarkable. I'll have them in the gallery very soon, so stop by the Art Gallery of Viera to check them out!
Featured Artist of the Month
Today I learned I will be the featured artist of the month in August at the Art Gallery of Viera. I am so excited to have this opportunity to showcase my work in such a setting. My daughter pointed out that I will return from our trip to Alaska only a few weeks before the show - I'll be very busy getting my new work ready to include in the show too! I'll keep you posted on my progress!
Art Gallery of Viera - Art of Romance reception
I had a great evening with my family and new friends at the Art Gallery of Viera. There was good conversation, wine, chocolate ( as promised) and many friendly faces milling around the gallery. The live music was fabulous thank you so much to so many who made the evening such an enjoyable success.
Art Gallery of Viera
I just received wonderful news. The Art Gallery of Viera has recognized my work as suitable for display and sale in their exclusive gallery located in The Avenues of Viera. I can't tell you how honored I am to be accepted as an artist by this group. I am very proud to be a member of their gallery. I am so very thankful to my husband, my family and my extended family, who always encouraged me and believed in me. To my dear friends in my artists group whose encouragement, friendship, and contacts have helped me get where I am today. I look forward, knowing I will continue to learn and grow my talents.
To all my family and friends,
I love you all!
