Yesterday I volunteered to be the photographer for the Space Coast Velo Sport fundraiser. This was a great experience for us. This year was no different than the previous years, in 2009 alone SCVS raised $10,000.00 at this event. We met two courageous ladies who were breast cancer survivers with moving stories and powerful, positive attitudes. Over two hundred motivated cyclists showed up and rode the 12, 28 or 42 mile bicycle routes to support the CANCER CARE CENTERS FOUNDATION of Brevard. We met many friendly and generous people at this event and I am proud to have made a contribution in raising awareness of Breast Cancer.
